MINOR IN NUTRITION
A minor in Nutrition provides students from other degree programs including but not limited to Biology, Chemistry, Food Science and Nursing with a fairly intensive level of understanding of nutritional science.  The minor is for students interested in the area of nutrition who believe that good nutrition and personal lifestyles are important for the well-being of individuals.   Students should contact the BHAN Academic Advisor, Susan Coffing at (scoffing@udel.edu) to apply for the program.  A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or above is required for admission to the minor.   This minor is not available for those in a Nutrition major.

NTDT400 Macronutrients 3
NTDT401 Micronutrients 3

6 additional credits in Nutrition and Dietetics at the 300-level or higher. A 2.0 GPA is required for admission; a minimum grade of C- is required in all courses in the minor.

Prerequisites: CHEM 214 and CHEM 216 are necessary prerequisites for NTDT 400 and NTDT 401. The grade of C- or better is required in CHEM214 and CHEM216.  CHEM213 and CHEM215 are prerequisites for CHEM214 and CHEM216.
