MINOR IN LINGUISTICS

The minor in linguistics requires 18 credits, distributed as follows:
LING 101Introduction to Linguistics3

One of the following:3
LING 403Introduction to Phonology
LING 404Structure of Language
LING 418Meaning and Language Use
Any four additional LING courses, two of which must be at the 300-level or above12

Special problems courses and courses other than those specified above must have approval of the Undergraduate Studies Committee of the Department of Linguistics.
